“Insight into the wonders of chamber music…”
On the first day of Festival Resonances, the cellist and mentor to many of Europe’s finest young ensembles, David Waterman, will work with a young and recently formed piano trio in an open masterclass in the main room of the Château de Halloy.
This is a Festival event free of charge for the audience!
This young piano trio was formed in 2023 and is made up of the young musicians Hawijch Elders (violin) and Jorge Giménez (cello) who are studying at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth and Duarte Soares (piano) who is studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
As a trio they have received coaching from Thomas Dieltjens.
They will be performing Mendelssohn’s 1st piano trio in D minor at the masterclass.
