On March 2016 four young international musicians joined their forces establishing a piano
quartet.Their first performance of Johannes Brahms Piano Quartet No.3 at the Music Instrument
Museum in Brussels marked a beginning of a successful collaboration. Since then they have
performed at the Great Hall of Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Music Instrument Museum and
other venues as well as participated in the masterclasses with V. Remes (Prazak Quartet) and
studied with T.Dieltjens and E.Robberecht. Their performance of Brahms Piano Quartet No.1 at
Midis-Minimes Festival was streamed on Musiq3 radio channel.
The main ensemble`s ideas and conception are expressed by the name of quartet. The
word elysian comes from the idyllic Greek mythological place called Elysian Fields. In classical
mythology Elysium, also known as the Elysian Fields, was the paradise reserved for the heroes
immortalized by the gods. Delightful, glorious and blissful this time could be heard at Elysian
Piano Quartet performing works of Gustav Mahler and Johannes Brahms
